Are You A Quack?

An out of 200,000 odd people in Gosford, [including myself for extended periods] only reports from the usual select gullible, impressionable few.:D

3 dozen people all seeing the same craft on the same day/night are therefore gullible? No, that doesn't follow at all.

3 dozen people out of 200,000? :D Sadly and obviously it does follow.
Oh, but hey I did forget! This is U-tube so must be true! [tic mode most certainly on ]

So it was all made up then? Some TV documentary just fabricated the whole event and used actors to perpetrate a hoax? There's medications now for paranoia Paddo..lol!

To a large extent, probably yes.

Yes, that's certainly what many TV shows set out to do, sensationalise etc and a well known fact.

So you're claiming this documentary was perpetuating a hoax? Can you back up that claim with actual evidence? There'd obviously be huge blow back over something like that in the news.

I'm claiming nothing: You are doing that. You made some suggestions: I made other suggested outcomes and facts.
With regard to the "huge blow back" you seem to imagine, why? The whole thing barely created a ripple anyway, except for the news media that did grab it for its sensationalistic impact, which obviously was just another "ho hum" episode with regards to these "flittering in and then flittering out sightings, by the many gullible, impressionable and scientifically ignorant people that move amongst us.

Right. The incident was reported in Gosford's Sun Weekly newspaper. So now you're saying it wasn't a hoax created by a TV documentary? That it really happened? Why are you changing your story with every post? Does this very compelling case upset you? Calm down. It is what it is. Just accept the amazing mystery of reality and don't worry about it. Life will go on. lol!

No, that's your option.

No, it's your option. I have no idea who was piloting that craft. But it definitely wasn't anything humans have.

The "reality" is that a few people thought they saw something and a whole lot of other people didn't see it. Thus, a hoax, hallucination, etc. is a better explanation than a "craft" of any kind.

36 people who were not in contact with each other hallucinating the same thing in the same time period? No..that doesn't happen.

As for the world he or she observes, it is a cold, uncaring place, devoid of awe, compassion or sense of purpose.
We are left with a purely material world, which is quantifiable but without quality ... The scientific method is at odds with virtually everything we know about our own nature and the nature of the world. It denies the relational aspect of reality, prohibits participation and makes no room for empathic imagination.
bullsh*t!
that statement is nothing but unfettered pungent carcinogenic delusional Dunning-Kruger based anal bloodfart bullsh*t - with garnish and lemon juice

the reason people think this is because they are too f*cking lazy, stupid or delusional (due to conspiracy, religion or politics) to actually try to understand science and scientists... it's hard so why try. you're the perfect example of that one, too.

I can prove that scientists are dreamers, have big imaginations and are always full of awe, compassion, and purpose: Isaac Asimov, Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson, Bill Nye and so many of the other science advocates and scientists who are also science communicators

just because you don't get it or are locked in your own delusion doesn't mean that the biased delusional perspective of a negative pessimistic confused journalist is correct or even close... the reason that crap resonates with you is that you're one of those conspiracy theorist nuts that gets proven stupid and delusional every time you attempt to argue a point about your UFO crap

and again, UFO =/= aliens, moron, it simply means UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT. that's it. period. full stop!

man... you really are a piece of work! all that energy wasted in faith and not a shred of evidence that can be considered viable

actually, yes, it does follow, and once again, here is the evidence you refuse to accept: https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&q=mass+delusion+hysteria&btnG=&as_sdt=1,4&as_sdtp=

mind you, that is only the scholarly papers in google scholar and there were "About 23,700 results (0.05 sec)"
that right there should also tell you one thing important you're ignoring: it's a common brain failure and it's well studied

So it was all made up then? Some TV documentary just fabricated the whole event and used actors to perpetrate a hoax?
yes, it really can be all made up (see link above that you keep ignoring)

that doesn't mean that the people don't believe in what they think they saw... it just means that they are not seeing reality and that it is common for the human brain to attempt to answer questions by making logical fallacy leaps just to have something to "say" or "believe"
i know you won't watch these vid's about cognitive issues, but some others will, and spreading food information is far better than the crap you're spreading: The Psychology of Belief

Magical Realist,
that was not flaming you

it was, however, descriptive of the crap that was written in your quoted article

if i was flaming/insulting you i would have been far, far more descriptive and colourful

but then, it appears literacy isn't your strong point. after all, i specifically stated "that statement is nothing but..." which pointed directly to your quoted article stuff that i posted above my comment

Nope. 36 people not in contact with each other don't hallucinate the exact same object doing the same things in the same period of time. It just doesn't happen. Next?

Don't be so obfuscating my friend. I'm claiming nothing other than other possibilities as opposed to your own rather impressionable take on this and every other aspect of Aliens, ghosts, goblins that occur world wide and that you seem so obsessed about. News papers are also responsible for sensationalised nonsense also you may be surprised to know.eg: The Daily Mail:rolleyes:
Does this very compelling case upset you? Calm down.
:D Why would it upset me? I would dearly love for evidence of ETI to be found before I kick the bucket...one of my great desires, because I absolutely believe we are not alone. I'm just not impressed by your fanatical u-tube claims, blurry videos, gullible accounts, and illusionary aspects of what you continually claim. Obviously the continued and outright rejection of your's and others nonsense re this subject, is upsetting you.
It is what it is.
Sure! I agree! just another "ho hum" episode with regards to these "flittering in and then flittering out sightings, by the many gullible, impressionable and scientifically ignorant people that move amongst us.
