Pissed off, seriously!
I wanted to buy Quicktime Pro from the Apple store, but I'm not allowed to do that because I'm not in the list of dozen or so countries that can be chosen as options!
Because of that I can not order with correct billing address.

And one more thing I noticed - Apple has different prices for different countries.
Why does quicktime cost 15quid in the USA and 20quid for the UK? It's the same download! :mad:

Humm, maybe someone can send me Quicktime Pro 7.5.5. serial?
 
just download it. if they wont sell it to you then obviously they dont want your money and have no problem with you using it for free.

It has to be installed on a film editing workstation which holds a lot of data - can't risk a virus or a trojan. Besides it's not for personal use, so can't include pirated soft (codec) in a material that is going to be officially distributed.
 
Apple suck worse that MS. Differential pricing, as you pointed out, sucks. iTunes cost more in the UK than they do in the US. That's bullshit.
 
I'll visit a local Apple store today and if they won't be able to assist me, then I won't buy an Apple computer for any foreseeable future.
 
I recieved the program bundled in with some software I got with my new video card.
