Time to post details about my point of view.
How could he not be dead ?
I mean - other than the old cliche where nobody's dead if the sequel will generate sufficient "buzz", ie: spendolas, of course.
Didn't the last scene in the show depict the super-duper slap-happy utopia-land the world became after the mean old tyrant "Lulu" turned into had been assassinated ?
Umm, the Zero Requiem only needed Lelouch vi Britannia to die, not Lelouch Lamperouge ( remember the two names? ). Lelouch is dead as a name, because he concentrated the world's hatred on himself then killed that identity. Well it didn't show his funeral, so I assume his body got carried away by Jeremiah ( Orange ). Which explains why Jeremiah was happy in the end. Also Nunnally seeing Lelouch's memories upon contact is sufficient evidence that Lelouch got Charles' code. Also, why would C.C. be happy if Lelouch died, she would be alone again, but if Lelouch didn't die then she ( and him ) will never be alone. Remember what C.C. said?
“Geass is the power of kings, it will isolate you… well, I guess thats a little wrong… eh, Lelouch”
She is saying that she is not isolated and either is he. She said in the chapel about the price he paid to use Geass, usually after a Geass user fully develop his/her Geass and is still sane, then he/her will obtain immortality, and immortality is a curse according to C.C.
They had me at the mention of the Holy Britannian Empire vs. The United States of Japan, I must say.
The whole thing was a bit of fun. I got quite a laugh at how every 4th episode or so some bunch of the characters would be in the midst of a battle between Battlemechs- I MEAN Nightmares, and all of a sudden a great hulaballoo would arise over the appearance of some new & even more better improved model that nobody short of God On High Almighty should have been able to design and build - let alone manage to pilot.
They got me when it said Sunrise Studios. Gundam is also by Sunrise Studios and I really enjoyed that anime, so I thought why not try another Sunrise Mecha anime. It was better then I expected it to be
, its a lot better then Gundam SEED/Destiny and on par or a notch above Gundam OO. I also always wondered how they pilots manage to pilot the Knightmares ( Its Knightmares, not Nightmares ). And below my username it said Geass Directorate, its also from Code Geass, and so is my avatar, its the Geass symbol.
