If I made up a legal system, those who prosecuted or impeded in the finding of innocents of a suspect will be investigated, if they are found guilty, they will be put up against a wall and shot in the head, their organs salvage! A crime of "abuse of power" should exist for corrupt police, corrupt prosecutes and corrupt judges and juries with extremely harsh penalties (for politicians any corrupt should always fall under category of "treason"). The only thing worse than a criminal getting away is someone else taking the fall. Also power corrupts so the ones in charge should always be put one step way from the wall, if that does not keep them in line than at least fresh blood will always get into the system and the stale ones are killed off.

This is a very big problem in our legal system. People on both sides of the court make their careers based on the decisions of the judges or juries, and neither would want to be proven wrong. Obviously, many have gone to great lengths to prevent that "embarrassment'.
