Seems Al Quida has lost at least 3 of it's members today. One of those members was a high ranking one and I'm certain he will be missed. This will continue on until those with enough vision will just cease hostilities for awhile and let things rest. If those in charge would see that in a few years they can have it their way , then they will cease to try and force their views on what a short lived situation they have at the present time.

Oh ok, then I must respectfully disagree to your former assertion. This is the best chance to get at the Saudi’s, not only is the family unable to adequately defend itself, the US is bogged down in Iraq, and the overthrow of the Saudi regime is one of “their” premier coups. This is a very good moment to be a “terrorist” in SA, momentum seems to be on their side (for now). They have scared the Americans, given them a good spook, and they will probably start to leave the country. Also I think the most dangerous aspect of this for the Saudi’s is that Al Q has members in the Saudi security services, some of the 9/11 hijackers were in the Saudi security forces. So you aren’t necessarily dealing with a rag tag group here.

Having a kill fest won't help. IMHO it will just stiffen resolve on both sides.
Perhaps keeping the high ground is the only advantage you have. Sure, killing folks is easier but nobody said this deal would be easy.
Oh and bear in mind the majority of 'them' believe your people to be evil too but they haven't enough personal reasons to pick up a weapon. Overeaction might just convince them that OBL is right and they are stuck with a fight to the death.
