What has happened to this board? I for one am a bit "confused" by this new format. Is this some new part of the global conspiracy by aliens?

There's a lot of functionality in this new system. It may take a bit of getting used to, but once you do I think you'll find the interface to be intuitive.

way here I know I know...felt the same
as you, however, I think Bottica is right..
once you get the hange of it ..its not
all that bad. I hated it at first, but am
finding it is not quiet as bad as it seemed
at first.
