Air Show Crash Kills 78

So what is it? 66 dead or 78 dead?

Now I am curious to know where the difference in dead people can be found.

How come that your article has more dead people in it (Q)?

I guess the reports come in to the news agencies at different times, and a later one was after more bodies had been counted.

Mmm, maybe you're right. It is a whole different read though, the two articles compared...

Wanna go to an air show?

R U MAD?

take me to the observation deck of some tall building for the show...

But as the format stands, everyone one is viewing from the ground. The only way to impress... buzz the crowd.

Just recently in Moscow's main airport Sherementev an air liner crashed not long after the take-off.
Amazingly two stuarts survived, because they were at the wery rare end of the plane. All the rest are dead.
luckly the air-liner was almost empty , it has 350 passenger places , but only 16 were on board, because it was a training or cargo a flight

And the video starts with a commercial. How tasteless can you get?

Btw, the Russians have a long tradition for crashing at airshows.
I'll find some pics.

They weren't russians. It was in Ukraine.
They have different language and they hate russians;)

Eek! Saw the video on tv tonight.

Grim, there were bodies cut in two and all sorts.

This sort of thing happens a lot and still people go stand under planes and go 'oooh'. Fine, but you won't catch me doing it.

What was that noise..?

The news just said the head of the Ukraine military has been sacked over this.

I take it that he actually had something to do with the airshow and they are not just using him as a scapegoat. :bugeye:

Apologies kids

Not big and clever to make fun I know.

Just beats me why people wanna stand under a plane anyway. No time to get out of the way if there is a problem, as we have just seen.

About going to airshows: Well, if you are a plane enthusiast (like me), you wanna see planes. There has been accidents at air shows from time to time, but statistically, I dont think it is more dangarous than say, taking a cab through New York. --- But the accidents are messy when they happen.

The pilots are being sued?

Eh? not court-martialled or simply taken outside and shot?

Something's a bit fishy about this already. Wonder if someone's nobbled a few Ukranian jets?

Yep, the pilots are sued. They are still in the hospital.

I think I made a mistake in writing it down. I have that habit every so often. Then my English is not what it's supposed to be.

Apologies...:)
