Absolutely Nothing: Atheists on What They Know About What They Pretend to Discuss

Well, if we didn't have Darwin stew, we wouldn't have microbiology and the viruses God gave us would be ravaging the Earth. Maybe that's why you hate evolution, it helps us fight the diseases God plagues us with.
I don’t hate fairytales.

Would it surprise you if creature like fairies existed?
If yes, can you explain why?

Fairies are supposed to be tiny magical people with wings. People have been evolving to be larger and taller, not smaller. Of course, we've been down the road about sprouting wings and flying, which wouldn't work due to the weight factor, those types of humans bone composites would have to change dramatically. Most likely, predators would have wiped them out long ago. The magical part is of course ridiculous.

Why would you think they could exist?

I don’t necessarily embrace them, and couldn’t shun reality, even if I wanted to.

But, you shun science and the reality it explains. Of course, you're very selective on what you shun. If it suits your purpose, you'll accept it, if you believe it somehow jeopardizes your faith, you'll reject it out of hand.

But, you shun science and the reality it explains.
I shun fairytales posing as science.

From your perspective, reality must be whatever happens. You can’t seriously discriminate between truth and false.
Anything that is natural, must be right.

But I’m guessing you’re going to deny that, and throw in some Darwinian fairytale to account for discrimination. Let’s see.

Fairytale.

I think we live in a unimaginably large, multi-dimensional universe,
And God is totes cool.

I shun fairytales posing as science.

As do I, but only one of us knows the difference.

From your perspective, reality must be whatever happens.

The reality we both share is reality. You are forced to deal with what happens like anyone and everyone else.

You can’t seriously discriminate between truth and false.

I see no truth in your God or it's existence.

Anything that is natural, must be right.

But I’m guessing you’re going to deny that, and throw in some Darwinian fairytale to account for discrimination. Let’s see.

A great deal of life on this planet can be explained with evolution, but since you don't understand evolution, you won't understand the explanations. Your God can't explain anything.

Fairytale.

Fairytale.

Fairytale.

I think we live in a unimaginably large, multi-dimensional universe,
And God is totes cool.

And, how do you know God is totes cool? Where do you get your information? The Bible?

The reality we both share is reality. You are forced to deal with what happens like anyone and everyone else.
From your perspective, however I deal with anything is 100% reality. I cannot do or say anything that contradicts reality.
A great deal of life on this planet can be explained with evolution,
That doesn’t mean the explanation are correct.
Nobody observes one type of animal changing into another type of animal complete with new genetic coding for entirely new parts, with a complete new set of functions.

I’m not saying it isn’t true, I’m asking for evidence that justifies a whole swathe of people in acceptance. I know for a fact they are not privy to any physical evidence.

We all have a connection with God.

No Jan, "WE" all don't have a connection to God, no matter how many times you want to repeat it. It simply is not true.

That’s what theism means.

No, that's not what it means, Jan. Crack open a dictionary some day.

Atheism means we lack connection, or deny connection with God.

Wrong again.

I'd be happy to buy you dictionary, Jan, but you do know they are free online, right?

Or, perhaps you've written your own personal dictionary that none of us are privy?

theism. Use the noun theism to describe the belief in at least one god. ... Its opposite is atheism, which means not believing in any god or higher spiritual power. There are different types of theism, such as monotheism, which is belief in only one god, and polytheism, belief in more than one god.
Wrong again.
disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods.

From your perspective, however I deal with anything is 100% reality. I cannot do or say anything that contradicts reality.

You say many things that contradict reality.

That doesn’t mean the explanation are correct.

And yet, they are correct.

Nobody observes one type of animal changing into another type of animal complete with new genetic coding for entirely new parts, with a complete new set of functions.

See, more proof positive you don't understand evolution, so why bother commenting and denying that which you have no clue?

I’m not saying it isn’t true, I’m asking for evidence that justifies a whole swathe of people in acceptance. I know for a fact they are not privy to any physical evidence.

Yes, we are privy to boatloads of evidence, Jan, you as well. But since you refuse to have anything to do with learning and understanding it, your remarks only make you look the complete fool.
