In this video a brain scientist vividly recounts her own experience of a stroke that hit the left hemisphere of her brain. She addresses a fundamental dichotomy of human nature -- the left brain perspective of individuality and the right brain perspective of non-individuality.

How it feels to have a stroke

I've heard a few stroke victims say something similar to that. I've disected human brains that have undergone strokes and they all look so strange depending on what type of stroke they had. Some have huge holes in their brains from cell loss some people's brains are swollen to enormous proportions the brain is so complex yet so simple.
