a question to anti-abortioners

OK, if someone kills a pregnant mother they can get charged with murdering the mother and unborn child. Same goes with injuring I do believe.

SO my question is this. IF your viewpoint is life starts at the sperm hitting the egg. SHOULD the mother be charged for child endangerment for drinking/smoking while pregnant?
 
You could argue that those things are indictable offenses. Addiction is a difficult thing, but a deformed or damaged kid is unthinkable. Before someone goes diving off the slippery slope argument, there'd need to be a certain level of reasonability in such a prospect.
