Lord, I have sinned & pray for forgiveness. I cheated on my wife & have had many one night stands.

The reply from the majestic person:

You have no need to worry about your fate. I am Zeus: Welcome to the Elysium Fields.

Goes to show how our notions of god have evolved as our sense of morality has. People wonder why the OT god seems so different from the NT god. It is not really a matter that the god has changed, only our ideals.
